Syamsul
Davinn
Nüsantara Mercantile Company is led by a team that brings together marketing, market research, and hands-on commodity experience.
Syamsul brings over 10 years of marketing, business development, and partnership experience across Indonesia and international markets. He specializes in building strategic partnerships and coordinating initiatives that drive growth, and his cross-market background allows him to navigate complexity while delivering results.
Davinn brings strong international market research experience, having founded a marketing agency and led professional photography projects in Bursa, Türkiye. He specializes in building ventures end to end, from an emerging coffee business to a creative photobox brand, and his board role with his family's pharmacy and gas distribution businesses adds an operational perspective to how he approaches new ventures.
Together, they've already proven the model works: an earlier venture (Féniké) under their guidance sold out its first batch of production in three months with a 51% net profit margin and onboarded 2 distributors, evidence of the same disciplined, quality-first approach they bring to Nüsantara.
Rooted in the Islands, Reaching the World
Nüsantara Mercantile Company was founded on a simple belief: Indonesia's agricultural heritage deserves a direct path to the world's most discerning markets. We aspire to be at the forefront of Indonesia's agricultural commodities export, holding ourselves to international quality standards while staying grounded in the values that matter most: sustainability, transparency, and the welfare of the farmers who make it all possible.
Our Story
The story of Indonesian coffee is one of a precious seed finding its true home. Arriving on the volcanic soils of Java in the late 1600s, coffee flourished across the archipelago, from the misty highlands of Sumatra to the slopes of Bali and the mountains of Sulawesi, with each island lending the crop its own distinct character. That legacy lives on today in the hands of local families who tend their trees just as their ancestors did, and it's this living tradition that Nüsantara is built to champion.
Our flagship origin, Batursari Coffee, is grown at 1,200 meters above sea level on the slopes of Mount Slamet in Central Java. Nurtured in nutrient-rich volcanic soil and cooled by mountain breezes, each cherry is left to ripen fully under the forest canopy before it's hand-picked, hand-sorted, and processed, full-washed or natural, to bring out notes of brown sugar, tangerine, orange, blueberry, and strawberry. Every batch reflects the same principle: uncompromising quality from farm to cup.
Our Promise
We're building more than a supply chain, we're building a bridge between Indonesia's farmers and the global market, one defined by fairness, rigor, and respect for the land and the people who work it. Whether you're a buyer looking for exceptional, traceable coffee or a partner who shares our values, we invite you to connect with us.
